Meghan Trainor is removing herself from the "mom group drama" conversation.

On Monday (January 12), the "Still Don't Care" singer shared a video to TikTok addressing the alleged "toxic" friend group that High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale described in her recent viral personal essay for The Cut, per Page Six. Trainor doubled down that she has nothing to do with the situation and played off the drama by lip syncing to a sound declaring, "Come on, you have to believe me! Please. You have to believe me! No, you have to."

"Me still trying to convince everyone I'm not involved in the mom group drama," the mom of two wrote over the clip, adding in the caption, "I swear I'm innocent 🙏"

Trainor was thrust into the drama after Tisdale penned an article about breaking up with her group of mom friends after the friendship turned "toxic," describing moments where she was excluded from hangouts that left her feeling "not cool enough." Shortly after, rumors began to swirl online that the group allegedly included famous faces like Trainor, Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore; however, Tisdale's publicist has since stated the essay was about a different group of ex-friends.

Trainor's latest remarks come days after she cheekily reacted to the the ongoing speculation, sharing another TikTok of her looking surprised and typing on her computer while "finding out about the apparent mom group drama." Her husband, Daryl Sabara, has even weighed in on the situation, recently telling a paparazzo that there was "no drama over here" and that he "hopes [Tisdale's] OK, though."
