Jessie J cried happy tears after receiving a positive update regarding her cancer journey.
The "Price Tag" hitmaker, born Jessica Ellen Cornish, assured fans that she's "OK" and that her breast cancer has stopped spreading in a new post shared to Instagram on Monday (July 7).
"And…I AM OK. Results = I have NO cancer spread 😭 Happy tears are real 😭 Thank YOU for the prayers, the love, the well wishes, the joy and all the positive energy."
The great news was accompanied by a video of her 2-year-old son, Sky Safir, telling the world that his mother was going to be ok!
"This video is from the night before my surgery • We called it baby boy. You are my biggest ray of light and with you in my life the darkness will never win. ☁️🌞 Lots of healing to go and one more surgery to make these cousins look more like sisters. But for now it’s gratitude time," she beamed.
The "Domino" star announced that she was diagnosed with early breast cancer in June, telling fans that she was going to disappear for a bit and undergo surgery before returning better than ever. Cornish has been very open about her health throughout her entire journey and also let fans in on her post-surgery recovery at the end of last month.
"I am home now, to rest and wait for my results 🤞🏻Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!"
