TLC's Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins is speaking out about her recent health scare and her plans to retire from touring.

The veteran singer stopped by The Breakfast Club on Thursday, August 29, to address the confusion after TLC was forced to cancel two recent shows. T-Boz said that what happened to her "could've happened to anyone." She recalled feeling fine right before TLC's scheduled performance in Syracuse, N.Y. At first, she thought she had food poisoning due to something she ate. She hilariously compared the feeling in her stomach to a classic move from the Incredible Hulk.

"My stomach felt like if the Incredible Hulk took it and just said 'Hulk Smash!'"

"It was like I couldn't stand up. I couldn't talk. I couldn't walk," she continued. "When the doctor came to see me to prove that I was sick, he immediately was like 'She has to go in and admit her.'"

T-Boz explained what happened to her had nothing to do with her sickle cell disease. Her ailment was caused by scar tissue that hit her small intestine and caused a blockage. The scar tissue formed from a C-section she had 24 years ago. She also shot down rumors of her being on Ozempic and addressed those who tried to misdiagnose her online.

"It's not diverticulitis. I've seen a lot of people try to diagnose me," she added. "Everybody was a doctor all of a sudden. But I said 'Since my business is out there, let me turn this into an educational thing' and let people know this is really a thing because I had no idea."

The chatter about T-Boz's health ramped up over the weekend after TLC announced that they canceled two shows. Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas shared the announcement to her Instagram soon after T-Boz was hospitalized. The singer stayed in the hospital for three days before she was released and is expected to recover.

T-Boz also revealed her plans to retire from the touring life. She said performing live around the world is getting harder, and even cited Usher's recent injury as proof. T-Boz said she'll probably take her final bow sometime next year. That means TLC fans should take advantage of any opportunity to see them perform live if they haven't already.
